The bigger the boat the bigger the expenses. That is quite a large boat and you sound like a first timer. I would not recommend such a large boat for the first time. That being said, Winterize about $1000. to pull it out of the water and winterize all the systems. Half of that to get it going and in water next season. Storage is by the foot for the off season and it could go for $25-35 per foot for the off season months. More if you use dry sheltered storage and extra if you want it wrap ed. Fuel figure about one mile per gallon per engine. That might be high but since its a 17 year old boat probably not. Docking and slips are by the foot also and I would say about $2000. for the season plus electric. You have to really love boating to put that much into it. Hope that helps.

Well, here in florida I pay 300 dollars a month for a slip on the river for my 26' foot Bayliner
Although a few slips go for 160 dollars on canal.
In warm weather I have no problems or expense other than maintence on motor.
I also live on my boat.
I would recomend something 30' foot or smaller if you just want a "cruiser"

I also live in michigan and have owned a few boats it is one of the most expensive hobbys and or pleasures there is and the bigger the boat the more costly. most boats average around $1,000 a foot so if you get it for under 40,000 your getting a good deal winterizing a large boat can be very costly shrink wrapping it and flushing the system. every expence depends greatly on where you go and where you live in mich. check around at marinas and places that winterize first then make a decision.

Find out how much gas is at a dock. Prolly $4 a gallon.

You'll use 150 gallone a day if you cruise with it. You do the math.

Just for maintenance the usual rule of thumb is 10 to 15 percent of the purchase price per year.
