I am a High School student and have been doing research on the Lockheed. I want to design jets and just work in creating, designing and working on jets. I love working with a team and alone as well. What job field would this be in? Is it in my best interest to go to college or go to the Air Force and get training there? Does Lockheed require college and if so how many years for this position, but if not can i go into this position straight from the Air Force or should i do both?

I want the MPG of, say, these four planes, which covor most different kinds of planes:

747 airliner

F15 fighter

Airforce 1

a single propeller, two person plane.

Also, I want the cost of the fuel, preferably for each, because I imagine each of these planes use a different kind of fuel. (Do they?)
