I know it's the biggest passenger plane, but is it as big as or bigger than the USAF C-5?

Nope, delayed, delayed and delayed...

Bigger than the C-5, depends on what you compare. The Galaxy is longer, but apart from that the 'bus is bigger everywhere else.

The C-5 Galaxy is much bigger and can carry a lot more. Also the Antonov 225 is larger than the C-5. The A-380 is in limited service with Air France. It has yet to carry passengers on a scheduled trip yet. But, I feel that it may never enter full service with the price of fuel going up and the delcine of airline traffic worldwide.

No it isn't in service yet, not sure it is even limited service with Air France. The Promotional/testing Aircraft is in Air France colors but the first Airlines to put it in fare paying service will be Singapore Airlines. The target was the latter half of this year but that may have slipped to 2008. Airbus and EADS is having some serious issues.
