Hi, how much distance can a single engine aircraft travel (ie based on fuel consumption) and at what speed and for how long, especially if it wants to avoid radars (travel low?) and is modified to reduce weight. This is in relation to the LTTE using an aircraft last night.
Would really appreciate your thoughts

(Actually, I have converted scuffed pistons and/or bent rods from my gensets and Mercruisers into lucite paperweights.)

Go here and look at Continental airlines and Copa Airlines. It is insane how similar they look. Do you know any other livery duplicates?

Really interested in what the pilots do when taking off ..sequence of events and instruments they use, when they are cruising and again what the sequence of events is and what instruments they use to land the plane. Thanks.

Europe had failed Concorde as world's fastest plane. Now they built the world's largest plane A380.

Do pilots have a place to rest and snooze on these long flights?

Hi all, Im currently in my second year of college and im planning to persue Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering. Aerospace is something I love very much, being a flight instructor I decided to further my career and have more career options. My question is about the math involved. Do I really need to be a math genious in order to persue this field of engineering? Reason I ask is because im already in my 3rd math class since Jan 2007, just started calculus, yes, the dreaded mini terms and they throw it at us so fast. Sometimes I really feel as if I understand the math very well and other times I study for hours and never really get a hold on what it is that im trying to learn. How will this affect me? I really want to understand the math better but sometimes I just dont get it and sometimes I do. I'll stop at nothing to persue my career even if I have to repeat a math class somewhere down the road. Any suggestion or advice for me as I persue my dreams and career?

I know flight attendants need to know how to get out of the plane underwater in an emergency in their training. Do pilots have to also? I'll admit, I have always had a huge fear of water and swimming and stuff, so I was just curious.
