Let's say that i own a business... and i received a fine from the city of ANYCITY, USA... the fine paid to the city was assessed by the sanitation department... for failing to separate the business's trash into recyclable and nonrecyclabe bins as required by a city ordinance...
How do I go about accounting for this on my income tax returns? I am using turbo tax... what should I do?
Should I include it as an expense? or not?
Please help...

I live in San Francisco, California, run several businesses out of my apartment, and use the second bedroom as my office. My monthly rent is over $2000 and I understand that I can deduct the cost of the second bedroom from my taxes. That would save me about $12000 per year. Can I do this?

I'm 17 years old.
I get federal income, social security, Medicare, and OK State income taxes taken out of my check.

I've heard that I can file something where I can get tax refund since I'm a minor, but that vary will might not be true.

My tax situation is very complicated. I'm disabled and on Social Security although I am only 37. I am not employed however I do have an IRA that I pay taxes on every year because of withdrawals. This year, I returned to college and I have several student loans. Now tax time is approaching and I don't know what to do. Am I disabled, a student, or a disabled student?

I know state taxes would be different from state to state. In terms of federal tax if I am a sole proprietor what percentage of my income would I have to give the government? Assume I would make 40 - 50k per year. Also what other things would be taken out of the money I make? I know I would probably have to pay FICA because I've always seen that on my checks, is there anything else though and if so how much or what % would it be?
