a researcher is interested in the amount of state and federal income generated as a result of audits performed by the IRS. in a random sample of 50 income tax returns, the amount due after an audit averaged $880.22 with a standard deviation of $210.71.

1. construct a 98% confidence interval for the true standard deviation of the amount due on an income tax return after such an audit.
2. a representative of the IRS claims that performing audits has helped to recover a significant amount of money and that the average amount due after an audit is more than $800. Test the IRS's claim at a=.02.
i tried to solve this question during 2 hours. please i need your help!!! thx a million!

How does sales tax work when buying a property in Nevada? If I bought a property and then let it out to tenants would I pay sales tax on just the purchase of the property or would I have to pay sales tax on anything else in relation to the property (ie rental income or selling the property)? thanks

This film has disturbed me to my core. It has consumed since I first saw it about a week ago. I spend no less than 3 hours a night looking for proof that we HAVE to pay federal income tax, all I seem to find is more evidence that it us unconstitutional.

For the future test for VAT registration, where you expect taxable supplies to exceed £61,000 in the next month,

does that mean taxable supplies for the whole year up to that point,
or just supplies in that one month?

I live in Georgia and I found that I don't have to pay tax to amazon.com, but I do for other online stores. Does anyone know if just because Apple is in California, I don't have to pay tax, or if they have a store in Georgia I would have to pay tax.

Has anyone in Georgia ever purchased something from Apple?

i was informed that i won 1,000,000.00 great britain pounds, which converts over to $1,975,055.05. Now i have to pay $850 ( mailing, insurance coverage )
from great britain to recieve my winnings from over sea. Is there anybody out there who has heard of this online lottery & is it real? The officials of this lottery assure me this is very legitiment. But i'm scared to spend $850 on something that is not real, if it is than my life will change for the good.

With the taxes and fees being that huge it is even harder to do a good job by investing in the Stock Market. A year ago I couldn't find any US institution allowing me to invest because of my condition (being Mexican). They state that I must -at least- live at the US (what I can't at this moment). So, my question is about any institution that would offer a solution for me, allowing to invest in the Stock Market from Mexico (paying by credit card, paypal or whatever). Thanks.

I am loaning my parents $25K to pay off some land. I dont expect any income or interest out of this. But, if the business is really profitable then I would like to stay as a partner and get a monthly profit. If its just doing alright, they will pay me the $25K in 2 yrs. Im looking more into getting the $25K back.
