I'm getting a credit card soon and I don't know anything about them. Please tell me all you know about credit cards, how they work, which has brought you the best of luck, your experiences. I'm really nervous about it.

How many of you have legitimatly been ripped off by
Bank Of America because of the way there ATM balance and there Online Banking balances don't update properly causeing account overdrafts and other bogus fee's? If you would be interested in getting involved in a class action lawsuit against them email me your contact info and nothing more.
I've heard it time and time again from many others about the problems they have had with Bank Of America and I feel that its about time something is done about it.

This is how my bank says interest is accrued. "The interest is compounded daily and credited monthly." What does this mean? If I have 8000 dollars in the bank all month how would 5% interest accrue on that money?

I have calculated my budget and my parents oversea sent it every months the exact amount.

But most of the times, I just overspend it, this resulting in conflict with my parent because I have to ask more.

I don't have credit card btw.

if you just pay the minimum maount due, then the principal amount due keeps on increasing and then may cause payment problems later. If you pay the total outstanding amount due on your card everytime, then you are not enjoying its benefits. so, where to balance in between these two options??

The point is how to save more...
a movie at a multiplex will typically cost 300 for 2 ppl and a meal out somewhere arnd 500.

sometimes we even watch 2 movies in one weekend,
and we are having a tight time saving some money

My friend's parents did this with their house some years ago and now that her mum dead, and dad in a Care Home, the house can only be sold when dad dies (also meaning it cannot be used to pay the Home costs). Are you still able to do this or was it a loophole now closed because people were using it to avoid Care Home costs in the future?

I made some horrible financial mistakes where I used to live. I have tried to fix them but they have made paying bills from another country impossible! (Fees from sending money over just add to the debt). Now it's gotten to the point of no return... is there a way to file for chapter 7 from abroad without being there in person?

I have some funds in Switzerland since 20 years. I now want to transfer the funds to another country and bank. Credit Suisse is using all kinds of delay tactics to make it difficult for me. CS has alredy received the remittance instructions signed by the account signatory. It is quite a big amount we are talking about here and I want the funds tranfered as soon as possible. What can i do to make CS move? Where can I file an official complaint that bites them in the butt? What are my chances of suing them if they keep on dragging this out any further? What rights do I have?
