Suppose someone dies, and they have left a will. To the best of the knowledge of the executor, this is the last will of the person concerned. The money and property is distributed according to the terms of this will.

Then out of the blue, a MORE RECENT will is discovered. This second will is valid, having been duly witnessed etc. Only thing is, it uses a different solicitor and names another executor.

What would be the legal standing of this second, more recent will?
And would this situation be different depending on Scots or English law?

into my own IRA and was thinking of just putting the whole thing into a Vanguard Wellington since it's 65% stocks and 30% bonds anyway. Sound uncompicated enough? With .29% fee that's hard to beat.

Weve struggled hard to make the pmts but I'm always at least a month behind and the late fees have exceeded a full pmt. They have worked with us on this, but things aren't getting any better. This car is putting too much of a financial strain on us.

Damn-I lost my checkbook. I say lost, i am giving the people where i was the benefit of the doubt, but theres only two places it could be. And none of them is in my house. I of course called b of a as soon as i found out and put stop payment from the last check i wrote to the end of the book.
Is there a fee to stop payment on a whole book of checks? even in event of theft or loss? If so how much?

the most important thing is what can a thief or common thug do with my checkbook? it has deposit tickets and a register in it...
I feel like a complete moron. i've had my identity stolen once before...i am afraid its happening again...
can they open accounts/cards in my name? help! eternally grateful for any info....

Here is my concept. A half and half draw. IF everyone gave one dollar and half of the money was given to me and half went to someone who won the other half would you do it. Is it legally possible to do this. Ever been to a church bazaar or something like that, they do that. It is just on a bigger scale. It would make me and one other person (with the right ticket) rich if lots of people do it.

Say I were to make 100k through my business, pay all the appropriate taxes on it, and then I want to give 50k to a friend.

How would I give that 50k to my friend so that my friend would not also have to pay taxes on the 50k?

It just keeps adding up. I don't want to file bankruptcy. Right now I'm paying my credit cards by using other credits cards and they are almost all maxed out. I have 3 credit cards totalling $15,000 and a personal loan for $7500. I heard that using a debt service looks really bad on your credit report, and somehow I have managed to keep a decent credit score so I don't want to mess that up. I can't sleep because I'm so worried. I am horrible with my finances and I'm willing to listen to anything you have to say. Please help. What can I do?

Do you have any ideas? What would you do if you had the money? I got a little more than 9 million dollars.

A loan with a high street bank has not been paid in over 4yrs, however the bank have chased it. My question is that I am somewhat sure that if no payment has been paid in 5yrs then they will write off the debt. Is this the case. So far the bank have not pursued this large debt through the courts?
