I am in so much debt right now that I do not know how I am ever going to get out of it!! It seems like my only way out is bankruptcy. If I do file for bankruptcy, will I ever be able to buy a car, home, etc... ever again?

we have vonage and they never told us that they would be taking money out of our checking account. In fact they told us that all that our debit card would be charged was for the shipping of their router so it would work. now they are taking money out of our account with out even telling us. can they do this?

I'd like to open up a Christmas savings account with my child in the Minneapolis area. I'm having trouble finding a bank that actually offers this type of account.
Usually it is offered as a special type of savings account, that will not allow you to withdrawal any of the money until a set date, for example October 1st. The account comes with a pre-printed coupon book for weekly or bi-weekly deposits.

I need to sort my finances out. I have quite a large amount of unsecured debt but my salary has just increased and I can afford to pay off more of it now. I need some objective advice on my best strategy to clear the loans and cards effectively. I'm a chartered accountant so I don't really need basic advice, but more guidance on products etc available.

I am obsesssed with saving money to the point that I try not to spend any at all in the UK.

I check the cost of everything and take so long making up my mind if I want something or not that in the end I decide I dont need the item after all and the money stays in the bank.

I always get this feeling that everything is overpriced and not worth the asking price.
Its got so bad that I now fly to the USA to buy clothes and shoes and stuff.

Is there a way I can relax and enjoy spending ..??

If you use your debit card with Barclays and there is no money in there.. will you get charged.

Bearing in mind, there is no overdraft, you have never been charged before and its only 98p?

Is there a leeway?

It has to be one of these 10, although I you guys are trying to be thoughtful recommending a local bank. It has to be a large bank or one with Canadian basing because I live in Canada.
