I never applied for a loan before other than an auto loan. I am a first time home buyer in my whole family. I make about $70k and my wife makes about $30k. We both have FICO scores over 700.

Sorry this isn't really a question, BUT this has to be addressed. There has been too many of these "I make $$$blah blah blah at this website at cashcrate etc etc." I am sick of these users that ruin Yahoo Answers by them trying to get referrals for these shady companies. These so called free offers have hidden fees within them, sell and collect personal information and many do not pay a red cent no matter how long you stay with them. There is a website blog of a person who himself goes into these programs himself, and he has outlined the dangers of Cashcrate.
http://paidopps.blogspot.com/2006/11/cashcrate-one-dangerous-company.html
I even kind a copied him and looked into the website myself and have verfied this.

To make this a legit question, do any of you find these spammers and users that advocate these programs on Yahoo Answers annoying and destroying such a great site?

Who's the professional that can help a family figure out why they aren't doing any better than paycheck to paycheck living? Granted the family lives in one of the most expensive parts of the country to live in, but .... And how to assess this professional in advance to know if they are truly qualified to analyze and give advice?

I'm looking to open up a bar/lounge, but have no idea (1) how much money I'd need to open it up and ready it for clientele and (2) how I'd get my hands on that much money, stuck as a temp. Does anyone have any advice for me?

I'm in my early fifties, havent got a job. Am studying toward my phlebotomy certificate and real-estate investing. Me and my husband used to own three businesses at one time back in the '90's. He got caught up in two child support orders, which completely destroyed us financially. I went back to school to become an R.N. but I found things in the field I didnt like. Now I'm onto studying phlebotomy. My husband has had cancer that has debilitated him for 5 years now, so he is no longer in the work force, he can barely help himself on a day to day basis, so everything is left up to me now. I feel hopelessly lost because we have never been able to recover from this financial ruin. We have no savings, we just live day-to day.
I just completed my general studies two year degree at a college, and then was supposed to go onto nursing school, but I got turned off. Now I have to quickly decide how to get us back on our feet.We have been dealing with these problems since 1993. I plan to get B.A

My partner is currently on long term incapacity benefit, we have discussed me moving in with him, i work full-time, would he lose his incapacity or have it reduced as i work full time?

Or would it just be a case of losing the housing benefit and council tax benefit as obviously i would be able to pay that once living with him?

I know a couple people who have got it all back- including one person who was refunded over £2000! I want to go for it but am paranoid about losing the small claims court fees if I don't win, and of them shutting down my account. Has this happened to anyone?
