Personal Finance - November 2006

Am i required to report how much money i have on(CD's, savings account, including checking account) ?How will it effect my income? How will savings effect my unemployment status? Can i be considered low income even though i have savings?

or would you put it in an investment fund and let it build up THEN pay off your debt? Or would you just spend it?

I'm in deep financial trouble, including having my wages garnished... ugh! I realize this, and now I have creditors calling my parents, and I don't even remember giving them parents' phone number.
I've seen my credit report, and I want to take care of these problems, but until the garnishment ends in a couple of months, I just can't.
How can I keep creditors from bugging me or my parents but let them know that I AM aware of my irresponsibility and am wanting to clean up my act?

I'm going to England next week and I think I'll need about 2,000 British pounds. What is the best way to get the money? I have a Mastercard, a US bank checking account, and an HSBC savings account (with atm card) if it makes any difference.

I'm the type who likes a bargain, is likely to go for a lower range because i want to save money. Then theres others who get what they want buy splashing out... why cant i even bare to seperate from my money just sometimes... even when its 5 pound i have an urge to go and shop around to find it cheaper. Its 5 pound for goodness sake!

my wife's car was recently repossessed, she just recieved a summons to appear in court in june, is it too late to file bankruptcy on it?

also her ex boyfriend who cosigned for it also recieved a summons, is their anything legally that he can do to come after us?

I'm a heir to a fairly large estate and as far as i know i will be able to access the trust when I turn 21, because the trust fund was put under the Texas uniform transfer to minors act. This is the only stipulation that I know that the trust is under. This is stated in the will. I just want to know if any other stipulations that were set up on the trust by the deceased would have to be in the will also?

Been searching the web (Google) to find a loan that will cater for 1 default, private tenant and 1 dependant. All i seem to find is brokers. One has already requested £50 to process papers, which i stupidly paid, then i received a letter in the post saying to log on to egg.com and apply! What did i pay them £50 for?

I need a 15k loan.

Any one been in my situation and know any web sites/phone numbers?
