One of my favorites is to ask them to wait a minute, put the phone down, and find something to do for 1/2 hour or so.

respond is the word. Let them know, in writing, you will never accept telephone calls at work or at an odd hour at home. As a matter of fact, you can just say, "NO PHONE CALLS."

RESPOND IN WRITING, KEEP IT ON FILE..
