My daughter is a doctor, son-in-law is a pharmacist but has a business which seems not doing too well because of high debts. He could earn more by working as a pharmacist but insists on having the buisness since he likes its flexibility. My daughter works as a doctor so her income is much higher so she wants to help him financially. Besides her own savings, she asks me to lend her money so she can help him to pay off the mortgage (on the unit he bought before the marriage) sooner. Should I lend money to her or not? I am a retiree of average financial means.

If I won the lottery after my hospital was approved by State Aid, do I have to pay back State Aid? I pay back State Aid. I do that. I was admitted to hospital with no insurance and no money bill is overinflated because they applied for state aid then and knew stae would approve. Now, do I negotiate with hospital

i bring home $1000.00ish CDN every two weeks, and i am broke all the time, how do i budget?
i would like to save about 5k by jan 07. for a down payment on a house, but i am having a hard time to save,
i pay about $600.00 on bills a month, total, and i am broke, and have to bum coffee money from my mom,
i dont smoke
drink
or do drugs,
i gamble a bit, about $100.00 every two weeks
the rest i eat out, and shop with,

If a debt agency takes over my debt from another company - do I have the right to say I have no debt with them as I haven't spoken to them and definately not signed a contract with them? I had a debt with a bank - now an agency seems to have 'bought it' from them. Do they legally have the right to claim it from me?
