I am a Finance major, but I am interested in changing my major to English with a minor in Business Administration so I was wondering if I would still be able to get a position in the Financial Field. I know I can apply at JPMorgan still, but I was wondering about other companies??

I’m babysitting my seven year old neighbor for the first time tomorrow evening, and his parents have asked me to come up with a price for doing it but I’m unsure how much I should ask for. Michael (My Seven Year Old Neighbor) is pretty well behaved so it won’t be that difficult taking care of him hence not asking more for that, and his parents will be gone for about an hour and a half to two hours. Any idea’s on prices? I’m pretty unsure.

I have applied numerous times at a hospital at which I already work, internal applications, they have bullsh-itted me for about 2 months. I work PRN, and I get cancelled about three out of four times. Right now I am ready to apply at the local Sams club. I want to tell them that I'm sick of the sh-it and to cancel all of the apps that I have on file. What will that do? Is there anyway to politely ask if they have considered any further on my applications and if they haven't ask them to cancel them? Admin here, PLEASE REPLY! I've worked my a-ss off for the last 3 years to get where I am, and they don't seem to care. Right now, I am pissed off. Is it wrong to want to give them the ultimatum? Any hints about what to do would be wonderful and soon. Thanks

I remember in the auto industry on the secondry market they had huge amounts of money. When buying a 'used' or "preowned' car they had rates up to 28%, then added (on the top) $1,500-2000, then the dealer took them for the downpayment, plus other add ons. When I loked at this deal I discussed it with one of the financial brokers and even though they had billions I told them that most of these people would "punt" or not make the payments. Added to that was tthe fact that they "trusted" the dealer and required no warrenty on the vehicles.

My pont was without a warrenty and if the car broke down, they the people would have no menoney as they had already throw most of that into the downpaymet.. I was told not to wrong. Repo rate was voer 70%. Same with housing. I read an article where folks bought a house in cal for over $500,000 and now it is not worth tha and "upside down.

Financial friend mentioned this and mentioned the housing market over a year ago, plus the dollar.

Does the amount of Board Members on a company have to evenly match the % of the company they represent?

Please read carefully,
On the board of a private or public company, is it required that the number of board members be evenly split to represent the different percentages of the company owned by multiple people?

Example: The VC owns 25%, 25% is publicly traded, and the CEO owns 50%. Then 4 board members are needed, 1 for the VC, 1 for the public, and 2 to represent the CEO's 50% holding?

OR

Can each member on the board represent a different percentage of the company? Example: 3 board members needed; 1 for the VC @ 25% voting power, 1 for the public @ 25% voting power, and 1 for the CEO @ 50% voting power?

References would be really helpful.
