there was one lady that came into the store she knew closed at six at about quater to six and asked questions that she knew would take awhile. I nicely told her that the store was closing and we would have to hurry to catch a till in time but she said she worked all day so she be made time for. I was so mad she kept us 20 mins late, without a care no thanks or nothing

In yahoo answers a lot of people recommended CrashCrate.com for a good place to take online surveys. Right now I have two problems with it. 1) I’m not sure if the yahoo answers people were telling the whole truth. They could just be saying it’s a good place so they can get more referrals. 2) I went to CashCrate to check it out. Everything looks alright except for this thing I read in Terms of Service: “Third-Parties -- CashCrate is not responsible for any content provided by Third-Parties and your participation in their programs is governed by their Terms of Service and Privacy Policies. ************* will never charge you membership fees, however you must be aware that some third-party advertisers may require payment of some variety in order to complete their offer. Members will be solely responsible for any charges incurred by participation Third-Party programs.” Are all these survey places legit? I don’t ever want to have to pay for taking a survey. Does it say straight out which ones are free and which ones aren’t or do they trick you into paying? And what exactly would happen if you didn’t pay?
I would really appreciate it if I were to get some honest and informative answers from CashCrate members.

Why is it if we live in the richest country on earth, why do we live from paycheck to credit card to paycheck? Why can middle class families no longer function without making credit card purchases for necessities like food and the heating bill? Why do we give our Congressmen pay raises but yet never have raised minimum wage to match inflation since the 1970's?

In a calendar year, there are 2080 work hours (assuming one works 40 hour work weeks). But in some cases, 2087 hours is used to calculate biweekly pay. (i.e., annual salary divided by 2087 to get the hourly rate and multiply this by 80 to get the biweekly pay). Where does the 7 hours come from and when are they worked?

I paid a bill by check (online bill payment)... they claimed they never received it.

I put a stop payment on the check via my bank. the bank put the money back onto my account, but the bill was paid and now I have a credit balance. so, if they find the error... can they reverse it and charge me?? never had a billing error in my favor before!

I have been shopping on Ebay for a few years and love it. I have a bunch of stuff in my storage shed that I would like to sell, but seriously, I don't know if I want to deal with the aggravation of shipping, buying packing materials, taking stuff to UPS or post office. Also, I really don't want to deal with non-payers, etc. Most of my stuff is home decor stuff that is in good shape, but sick of them. For example, I had a brightly colored tropical fish themed apartment for many years and I am just sick to death looking a fish stuff. Is it worth it? I could use the money, but I work two jobs, so I don't really have a lot of time to deal with all of the packing/shipping.
