Clearly Progolf or whatever his name is continuing to share his stupidity and ignorance. Crematories are NOT filthy, they are cleaned thoroughly after EVERY cremation, you have nothing to worry about. Beside when the temperature is in excess of 1800 degrees, nothing can possibly survive being "filthy". As far as your plots, I would recommend placing an ad in a newspaper trying to sell them, you might be surprised at the response. I am sorry for your loss, take care.

As curator of a small cemetery, I can tell you, we don't buy back plots. Once they are yours, they are yours. You can resell them yourself, give them away, do whatever you want with them. The best thing you can do is talk to whom ever is in charge of this particular cemetery an see what they say. Don't be surprised if they tell you the same thing I did, but it never hurts to ask.

Cremation is cheap, but did it ever occur to you that you have the plot to avoid this ? The facilities are filthy, most people do not want to die in a fire, and do you think he may have thought of this when he / you bought the plot.

Cheap could be burial in the plot, no church or graveside service.
Investigate this before you set your brother's *** on fire ! That may not have been his wish !
