there was one lady that came into the store she knew closed at six at about quater to six and asked questions that she knew would take awhile. I nicely told her that the store was closing and we would have to hurry to catch a till in time but she said she worked all day so she be made time for. I was so mad she kept us 20 mins late, without a care no thanks or nothing

I could not work in retail. so I chose mental health.
Let me tell you the developmentally disabled population are so much more fun to work with then general public. They are definitely a lot nicer too.
I worked twice in retail, once in cosmetics and had to deal with overweight wrinkled women who could spend 20 minutes worrying about what color eyeliner they should buy
Another was the school bookstore, where students just yelled and complained that they weren't getting the right buy back price for their books!!!

that happens to me all the time, we close at 9 and people come in the doors at that time and shop for a while. It is that they are inconsiderate and because they couldnt come in while they worked they dont think that we are there working and that we would like to go home also.

I used to work in retail and I have learned people are super dickheads. Some guy even tried to throw down with me one day after he couldn't by 5 cartoons of cigarettes with a check and no ID. To the person above my post you are one of those dickheads go fu*k your thank you's.

when this happened in my store I called the police after i asked the person nicely several times to leave.closing time is closing time.

You don't know what happened to them all day it may not be their fault maybe their just stressed or its a bad day
