In yahoo answers a lot of people recommended CrashCrate.com for a good place to take online surveys. Right now I have two problems with it. 1) I’m not sure if the yahoo answers people were telling the whole truth. They could just be saying it’s a good place so they can get more referrals. 2) I went to CashCrate to check it out. Everything looks alright except for this thing I read in Terms of Service: “Third-Parties -- CashCrate is not responsible for any content provided by Third-Parties and your participation in their programs is governed by their Terms of Service and Privacy Policies. ************* will never charge you membership fees, however you must be aware that some third-party advertisers may require payment of some variety in order to complete their offer. Members will be solely responsible for any charges incurred by participation Third-Party programs.” Are all these survey places legit? I don’t ever want to have to pay for taking a survey. Does it say straight out which ones are free and which ones aren’t or do they trick you into paying? And what exactly would happen if you didn’t pay?
I would really appreciate it if I were to get some honest and informative answers from CashCrate members.

I've tried cashcrate and honestly I think it's sneaky because you end up signing up with all sorts of companies who spam you and sometimes you have to spend money to earn the money for completing the offers. I'm a very honest person and I found a place called Survey Savvy ~ it's completely free and they send the surveys to you.... you don't have to sign up with other companies, but to make alot of money you need to have referals sign up because you make money off of evey survey that they take... no big deal, you get to help your friends, family and coworkers make money too!! Good luck!

P.S. They are a member of the Better Business Bureau!!

I have never tried cashcrate, but I have heard it isn't a scam however it takes along time to make anything. If you are interested in making money online doing surverys and things I would check out Treasure Trooper!

http://www.treasuretrooper.com/167777

If you go to that link you can browse the site and even look at the forum where members interact and even post pictures of the checks they earn each month! The 167777 is my referral link, so if you do decided you want to sign up that would be awesome if you could keep that in there, because treasure trooper matches 20% of whatever your referrals make and puts it in your account!

It is NOT a scam, and it IS legal, HOWEVER, you must sign up with different companies, and usually it's a one time deal, AND you end up divulging your personal info to them, AND have to pay for monthly service, such as Netflix. Bottom line, most of these people telling you to join cashcrate are trying to get you to sign up, so that they get some minuscule "commission" or percentage of sales, thereby invoking or inciting them to SPAM here at Yahoo Answers, in attempts to make a buck, or two, maybe....., it's REALLY not a good deal!

I signed up to check it out, and immediately realized "HOW" it all worked, and did not sign up with any of the "surveys" or "services". I also canceled my account, quickly! I don't want 50 "businesses" spamming me after giving them my e-mail address, nor phone calls from the ones that require you submit your phone number!

that just means that some of the offers require you to sign up for a free trial or something. Beware of these if you sign up because after you free trial is over you get charged. I would just stick to the surveys. They are free and easy to collect money from. I use http://www.*************/index.php?ref=107177 and i have earned about $40. You never have to pay for anything as long as you dont sign up for a free trial, and if you do make sure you cancel before the trial is up.
P.S. I would create a new email that you dont plan on using for anything else because you will get tons of spam

Please use my link if you plan on signing up
