I want to own a company like Sharper Image, except I don't want cheap products. I also want low cost products for the consumers, and since you are a consumer, what are some ideas of technology that would be helpful to you?

Last week, I went to the post office to change my address. I was SHOCKED when the postal worker told me, it was not necessary to show any proof of identity to do so. Are you kidding me? She didn't ask for my state id, driver's license, NOTHING. I filled out a postcard and that was it.

With the all the identify theft going on today, am I the only person surprised about this? Or is it possible the postal worker didn't know what she was talking about?

If you change your address online, you are required to provide a credit card with your name, but in person NO ID IS REQUIRED???? That's nuts!!!

Beyond "data" to spur knee-jerk reactions to buying/selling, what value are the daily numbers?

Is this really financial news anymore than a storm off the coast of FL sends the price of crude rocketing?

I am begininng to wonder if everything from real-estate to oil is just trumped up and overvalued fueled by speculation and fear to drive up the percieved value of anything for sale.

Just a thought?

I have a house that needs some work that Im selling as a handy man special. I buy and sell house for a living and have done this for years. But the guy that owns the property next door and around the house keeps coming over when the realtor is there with a potential buyer and saying there is a million things wrong that really are not. What can I do about this. he has ran several people off doing this. Is there any laws that prevent this. i have no trespassing signs up now to maybe detour him from coming around.

I am closing my account at the credit union due to unsatisfactory customer service. Do they have any incentive to give good customer service, since they are not-for-profit organizations? Do they really care if I close my account or not?
