First, you should find a job, and try to save at least a few hundred dollars, preferably more like a thousand or more, before you even think about moving out. I assume you're now living with your parents. Make a list of everything they pay for you now. Add that up - will give you an idea of expenses.
If you have a car now, should be able to list those costs - if not, ask some of your friends. Remember gas, oil changes, inspections if they exist in your area, and repairs (you'll have them!)
Don't forget to list items like clothes, food and entertainment. And an apartment will cost you not only monthly rent, but also a deposit, utilities (which will also possibly require a deposit), and money to buy items to stock it - furniture, if you rent something unfurnished, and even if it's furnished probably won't come with a TV, stereo, pans, dishes, towels, sheets, etc etc etc. And brooms, laundry detergents, dish soaps, and toothpaste don't just grow in the cabinets - you have to buy those too. And you'll need money for stuff like doing laundry.
Prepare a budget based on all this and whatever else you think of, and make sure your wages (after deductions) cover it all, with some left over.
Some ways you might be able to cut expenses if the budget amounts are overwhelming: share an apartment, which can cut costs a lot. And if you're in an area with good public transportation, consider going without a car for awhile. Don't think you can cut back to $15 a week for food and nothing for clothes or entertainment - it won't happen.

The first thing you need is an apartment (somewhere to stay), second you'll need a car or some other form of transportation (try finding a metro station nearby). Then you'll need a job. You can go on yahoo and search for jobs, or you can walk around to local stores and businesses and ask for applications. The cost of car insurance depends on what type of car you have, how old you are, how many strikes you have against you in driving. I know how overwhelming moving out on your own can be. Good Luck!!!

Sounds like you are not ready to be moving out. How can anyone answer any of your questions...it all depends on where you live, what kind of car you have, SDIP points, etc. If you don't know how to do calculations or manage money than stay home before you earn bad credit!
