If I wanted to find out where companies in the US manufacture their product, where could I look?

I want to know if there is a directory of where companies manufacture their products that they sell in the US.

Since companies have to log their products and pay tariffs and other import taxes, I was wondering if there is a directory or some sort of log that has the origins of products sold in the US.

No, something like this does not exist - except perhaps for very specific products.

Usually any company would tell you where their products are manufactured - so why don't you ask by phone or e-mail?
