like when it is profitable and when it is not profitable?

Hello,

If there is a company that has a share price of $2, and another company that has a share price of $100, should I ask for more options at the $2 company? Does it matter? My reasoning is.. If the $2 stock goes to $3, the value of the company went up 50%. This is the equivalent of the $100 stock going to $150. Correct??And if I owned, say 10,000 shares, wouldn't I want to have options on the $100 stock and not the $2 stock?

Thanks a lot for any thoughts.

After doing some research, it is clear that a non-loaded mutual fund in the end, would end you up with a lot less in expense fees than a loaded mutual fund. So can someone tell me why I would buy a loaded mutual fund over a nonloaded?

Has the stock market brought a significant return to you, or has it given you a loss? I don't have enough money to make a significant return, but I took a look at about 10 of my favorite stocks' past performance in the last 5 years, and they all have grew in value.

I was involved in a startup company, we were marketing a commodity product, but to a new market segment. We had something special. I got my friends and family to invest, gave them info, had them meet with CEO and they largely plopped their money down because of trust in me. However, after a year with this company working for stock only, I realized that this president is not a well rounded business leader. In fact, he is making bad decsions that has cost the company a lot of money. I could not afford to work there anymore and left. I still stay in contact since I have more money invested than my freinds. I feel awful not for me but for my F&F who got involved in this. The CEO claims to have our money in an escrow account. Is the money gone? How do I find out if he has it or not? The company has about a million in inventory, what can the stockholders do to get their money back?

It seems that UVN (Univision) is no longer trading. There was some merger with Hispanic Broadcasting but if you look up Hispanic broadcasting you get a pharmaceutical company who, it seems, took over their stock symbol. So what happened to Univision. Was all the stock converted to cash? where is it trading now?

An executive compensation scheme might provide a manager a bonus of $1,000 for every dollar by which the company's stock price exceeds some cutoff level. In what way is this arrangement equivalent to issuing the manager call options on the firm's stock?

If I am interested in purchasing shares of a stock, how should I determine if it is the right time to buy it. Should I use charts? And if so, how should I do this?

I am 15 and know about stocks. I was looking for a stock with a high rate of return on capital for a good price. During the duration of period when I am working, I am considering the option of a margin loan for anywhere between $1,000 and $5,000 to invest in the stock market. Since my age is that not of 18 I am forced to have a parent co-sign it. I am just wondering if my plan is a good idea or if anybody has a different method to share I would be grateful.

Thanks
