Lets face it, Iraq is rich in natural resources and have the potential to bounce back due to the oil prices.

Lets say one bought 10 million dinars at a negligable cost today, and it were to recover to the value of the US dollar in 10 years time.

Is this possible?

i was wondering do you have to put the actual paper, that is the savings bonds in to a bank for it to add interest, or does it gain interest on its own? i'm new to this savings bonds thing.

if it does gain interest on its own, how much will i get if my savings bonds was issued MAY 2001, and the amount is 2,000 dollars?

I found a company that guarantees to pay out 1.5 to 2% interest EVERY DAY. All the money market and savings accounts pay out 4-5%, but only once a month or even once for the entire term. Is this rate of return even possible? Should I trust it? I'm thinking every investor would be breaking down their walls to invest with them.

I started one in Yahoo! Finance for my personal benefit about a week ago but hopefully someone has compiled more complete and longer term info.

I need to calculate the weighted average yield on a pool of loans, all with different interest rates and balances. Excel doesn't have a weighted average yield formula, so I need to know how to calculate this. Someone borrowed my cash flow textbook so I can't look it up.

I am tired of banks offering ridiculously low rates. Looking for a return of higher then 5% and low to medium risk. If the investment is between $15-20k what are the best ways it can be invested to get that return? (in Canada) Is real estate an alternative, because there is a market for it here?
