I took a class that recommended buying options whose Delta is between 0.7 and 0.9 (supposedly, in this range the trade is less risky).

I just spent an hour looking at Greeks at the E*TRADE web site (where my brokerage account is), and came up dry... all the Deltas were reported as either zero or 1.0, nothing in between. Is this a bug with E*TRADE's site? just laziness on their part?

Do you know of a free website that does a good job of accurately reporting Greeks (or at least, Delta)? (I know you can get free options chains at bigcharts.com and Investopedia.com, but I don't think they include any Greeks.)

This 0.7-to-0.9 strategy seems impossible to follow, if I can't find any options whose Delta is in this range! Any tips you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

(impliedvolatility.com may have provided this info in the past, but seems to be defunct now.)

If you look at the call premium and the put premium they are pretty much the same. However for NOK I see that there is a big disparity (look at May 25, call and put premiums); Is this because of the dividend that is coming before the options expiry date?

I want to add her money to my money in a stock trading account. I would pay the taxes on the gains but then give her a certain amount each month like she is currently getting from her IRA account. I don't want her money in my account to be a gift, it's still her money but we would both get a benefit of being able to diversify more with more capital combined. Any thoughts on if this can be legally done or any hidden tax consequences? She would have to close her current IRA and send the money into my account. I know she'll have to pay taxes on the IRA withdraw but it'll happen sooner or later. Thanks.

Or has it yet to begin? Are you buying or selling ? Holding

Stage 1 of gold’s present bull market began in July 1999. It is marked by the selling climax that flushed out all of the remaining weak hands, which occurred after the Bank of England announced that it was selling one-half of its gold reserve. Gold touched $252 during July 1999, and has not been lower since.

It is now eight years later, but gold remains in stage 1. There is still widespread apathy about gold’s potential, mainly because there is still widespread belief that the Federal Reserve is attempting to control the growing inflationary pressures that are destroying the dollar. Relatively few people are watching gold, and even fewer understand the importance of owning real, physical gold at this moment in time as protection from the dollar’s problems. But that is about to change.

The above chart is telling us that gold looks ready to make a new all-time high. When that happens, stage 2 begins. There will not y
