I am looking for ones with a long track record. The longer the better. They should average at least %12 per year.

Canadian Solar (CSIQ) up 24.54%
JA Solar (JASO) up 16.5%
Trina Solar (TSL) up 17.53

I couldn't find any news on these stocks. Oil was down, and other solar stocks didn't have big moves (Evergreen Solar (ESLR), SunPower (SPWR), SunTech (STP), and MEMC (WFR), for example). Any news would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Houyhnhnm

I run across a lot of bloomberg tickers/IDs and it would be really helpful if I could decompose them into the security's different components (i.e. something like option codes ROOT+MONTH+STIKE). Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Lets say a stock is priced at 75 dollars a share and you can only afford to buy two shares of it, if this stock only goes up to 77 dollars what would be the point in even putting your money in it if really all you will make on your 2 shares is 4 dollars?

I dont trust her,my accountant/Finacial advisor.....She stalks me everday everwhere.Ever since we met i see her everywhere.School,Job,mall etc.

She calls my cell phone twice a day to just talk?"hey you like baseball?"My accountant/Fianacial advisor even hired me an attourny.

I dont even have the money yet and people are up in my face.

My question is my accountant crazy or are all accountants wack jobs who want a piece of your pie?

Ok - my tax refund this year is ~$1200. I'm in about ~$7500 in debt right now.

I know the sensible thing is to put it directly towards debt. However, I'm a bit of a risk taker and was considering if I could *possibly* make some money with my $1200 and eventually pay off more of my debt.

I should add, I'm not struggling with debt. HOWEVER, I would have some extra saving/spending money if the debt wasn't there.

I don't have enough money to buy the number of shares I want of a stock at this time. Therefore, I want to buy options contracts. I don't want to hedge bets, I am certain that the stock will go up. What should I buy?

Let's say I purchased a call option to buy a certain stock at $10, and the stock climbs to $15 and I want to exercise the option. Am I required to have the money on hand and buy the 100 shares to turn around and resell it, or does the broker do all of that and just gives me the difference (profit)?

Hello guys,

I'm interested in learning more about forex, options and futures trading. I heard that there are mini or micro account that can go as little as US$ 200 or 300 dollar. Is it true ?

Also, any recommendations for free forex, options and futures trading simulators ? I know that some websites provide this service but usually the virtual capital is too high (10K or up), and I want to set the initial capital to small amount like US$ 300 or 500.

If possible, is there any recommendations for courses/books ? I'm not aiming for those "fancy" amount of income, several thousand/month is OK. Of course I'm not looking for courses that cost hundreds or thousands of dollars...

Yes, It's "Shareholder Voting Season" and I was wondering how I would determine how the Mutual Fund Managers VOTE on Stock ISSUES proposed by share holders. Voting for the Board of Directors of Corporations, and Voting for Auditors.

Does anyone know if the Mutual Fund Managers make their votes public, or if I as a collective owner of a Mutual Fund can sway a manager to vote a certain way.
