Just go to the book store, buy the two book by James Cramer. "Sane Investing in an Insane world", and "Watch TV and Get Rich." Read them both and follow his advice.

There are a lot of those types of seminars going around out there with all types of get rich schemes. If you dig through enough charts in the market you can support just about any kind of pie-in-the sky theory. .
IMO There is enough free info on the internet and the libraries for the average person to get started for free. Try Benjamin Graham's "The Intelligent Investor" or "A Random Walk Down Wall Street" by Burton Malkiel. Both are considered to be good introductions to investing. Graham was a Columbia Business School professor who taught Warren Buffett among others. Malkiel is a Princeton Economics professor.

Penny stocks, also known as cent stocks in some countries, are common shares of small public companies that trade at low prices per share. They are notoriously risky but if you follow a special method I've learned you can earn good money at almost no risk. This is the site I use: http://pennystocks.toptips.org
I definitely recommend subscribing to this site in particular. Very good research, quality stocks. I was a bit weary of penny stocks from all the bad hype they receive but this guy is pretty legit. He's put my mind at ease with a lot of the fears I've had. I especially like that he doesn't send out announcements left and right. I've signed up for other websites that fill my in-box with one company after the other. I don't know where to even start with so many choices in front of me! Nathan sends me one idea a week and that's all I need. Working so many hours during the week leaves me with very little time when I get home to start doing tons of penny stock research. I'm always eager to see what Nathan's next suggestion is each Friday and I love having time on the weekend to do my research.
As said above if you want to make money with penny stocks you have to follow some proven methods. This one in my opinion is the best: http://pennystocks.toptips.org

A 3 hour seminar does not even begin to scratch the surface about how to invest properly. It took me roughly 3 years to learn "how to properly invest" in the stockmarket. I had a great educator and mentor to help me along the way.

What you will learn is worth $150 but not enough to invest wisely. They will set you up to spend between 10K and 25K in courses that will REALLY teach you. If you are serious, they will be worth it. There are many of those outfits touring the country. I went to TMTT (Teach Me To Trade). They did well but it was not cheap. I spent 35K last year in training. Good Luck.
Oh, and don't expect to learn how to trade in a 3 hour seminar. I took 5 - 3 to 4 day seminars and I still have a lot to learn.

I heartily recommend three books and one daily newspaper to you. They are, Nicholas Darvas' HOW I MADE $2,000,000. IN THE STOCK MARKET, Stan Weinstein's SECRETS FOR PROFITING IN BULL AND BEAR MARKETS, and William O'Neil's HOW TO MAKE MONEY IN STOCKS. The newspaper is INVESTORS BUSINESS DAILY. Also recommend you listen to Gary Kaltbaum's daily radio show, INVESTORS EDGE, from 6-7pm, eastern US time. If it is not on a local radio station you can listen live online at kbnp.com or get the archived show afterwards at garyk.com (free). Remember, there are many ways to skin a cat. These represent my own approach. There is no "easy" method to stock market success. No matter how you approach investing in the stock market, success will depend on the work you are willing to put into it.

www.investopedia.com is free and has a lot of information (probably more than a three hour seminar).
The best way to get rich is to sell get rich schemes. In fact that's how most of the get rich scheme people actually make their money.
