A standard roll is 40 quarters, or $10, unless there is some numismatic value. My father-in-law has some rolls that are worth a good deal more, but they are still only 40 quarters..

The face value is $10. However, if you have a roll of especially collectible quarters, the face value will be minimal in comparison to ther actual value if a numismatist (coin collector)is interested in purchasing them.
