I transferred to them from Schawb lured by their cheap trades etc.

It has been a nightmare. Last night, at 53, I thought I was having a heart attack -- I was so upset with them.

I am now transferring to Fidelity. I am hoping that they are better.

In hindsight Schwab wasn't all that bad. Just expensive. I guess you pay for what you get.

I have written 3 times to their compliance department and twice to the SEC.

Just curious whether others have hda trouble with TD.

Many thanks.

Are there any good solid stocks on the market that tend to do the opposite of what the rest of the stock market is doing? Go up when everything else is going down, and go down when everything else is going up?

I bought 700 shares of an oil co. stock and have lost $13,000 in a month. Should I sell to stop the bleeding or wait it out for higher gas prices and an upswing with the stock. I am thinking if I sell now maybe I can rebuy later if it continues to plummet. I have confidence in this company's stock but I'm losing money fast.

I have Dreyfus S&P 500 mutual funds (PEOPX) and as of right now I think they have reached their highest price ever. Should I sell now and wait for it to go down in order to rebuy at a lower price, or should I just keep a hold on to what I've got right now. Can you make an educated guess and tell me why I should do what you propose?

I have seen in the webpage fxcm.com that they let you "trade" currencies when you open a training account; they give you 50k FAKE money, so you can train before going into the real stuff. Is there something similar but for the stock market??

Lets say I want to buy some stock, can I call a broker and say I want "100" shares and pay the guy and his fee. And then three weeks later call and sell, and make that difference if it goes up. This may sound dumb, I want to know if theres more to it than that.
