I earned more money in my mutual funds than I did at my job! W00t!

So by my calculations, umaineball's portfolio is worth... well, you can do the math yourself. But if I were you, umaineball, I wouldn't advertise that number on the Internet!

congrats, I too have been in it for the long haule, have been for the last 30 years, have had critical mass for the last 20 years

Did very well.

I sold 100 shares of Microsoft at a gain of about $400.00, used the proceeds to buy 1300 chares of Gateway Computer.

My other holdings didn't move much at all.

My main funds probably gained $500.00.

That's more than I earn working in one full week.

The new concept is to have investments working so you don't need to rely totaly on the job for your livelihood.

I've had better days, and I've had losing days, but the long term is all what matters.

Should Microsoft go back to around $24.00, I will buy back.

I did well today. Had an overall 2.24% increase with my biggest mover being LMT going up 2.05 a share and DECK going up 1.25 a share. Overall my portfolio increased by $22,070.71.

Don't get too excited.

Its the last week of the quarter.
Funds are usually up on the last week of the quarter. Its called window dressing.

Personally, some of my stuff was up, some went down.

manly men invest in stocks son, but then again, i didnt let go of my schlumberger when i should have, so know im sitting around waiting for it to appreciate
