I'm interested in buying a home warranty plan. I'm looking for any feedback on National Home Protection.

I used to own whole life insurance until I learned the hard way about the truth behind it. A life agent said cash value was a great way to build savings for retirement and that I can use it anytime. That sounded pretty great and so me and my husband bought it. About 28 years later, he died in an accident. The life insurance paid the death claim about 30 days after I filed a claim. But all the cash value was gone! With the cash value, I could of used it for my retirement.

So now I got rid of my whole life and paid a surrender charge on the cash value. The mortgage is paid off and no one is dependant on my income anymore. So I don't need life insurance. I moved about $45,000 of cash value into various investments.

All I have to say to people buying life insurance is do your own research about life insurance before listening to life insurance agents.

I want to avoid life insurance or a will, I simply want another person entitled to have rights on my bank account ONLY IN CASE OF MY DEATH. What exactly do I ask for in this case? I do not want this person to have access to my account, obviously. What do I do?

where can i find a break down as to what each endorsement code is pertaining to? im supposted to look over my mothers policy, but I am not an auto owners agent, and each company has there own code variation.
if possible, can you cut and paste the endorsement codes for me? im sure, as with citizens on the website under forms it states the code and what it pertains to.
ex:
IL 00 17 11 98-common policy conditions
if you can PLEASE email to me, they cant get into see there agent for a while, and want to know what each one means.

My girlfriend what hit from behind waiting for vehicles to move in front of her. The guy that hit her lied and said she was moving from the right lane. He hit her dead center and cracked her bumper in half.
Anyways, her insurance (Farmers Insurance) cleared her of any wrong doing but the guys insurance (ALL STATE INSURANCE) says they will only pay for half the damage. If my girlfriend wants to get her car fix..she has to pay the deductible which is more than the cost of the repair.

Ok my question is, can we take this guy and All STATE to small claims court if FARMERS insurance doesn't want to do anything??? What can we do? She did nothing wrong and shouldn't have to pay anything out of her pocket...Help if you can ...Appreciate it..

I was arrested for underage drinking in january. I have been to my intake and assigned 7 alochol awareness sessions.

This is the story in short. I got drunk with a friend at his farm. well the grandmother that hates him has a house that was close to where we were. We got into a fight and he left his girlfriend and I at the farm to take his baby home. well i walked to the closest house. Now its 1-2 am and i am totally plastered. I started Knocking on the door. she called the cops and they came out. Well apparently she said i was trying to kick the door down. my foor print was on the door. however i wasent trying to break in. It was Cold and i was Drunk. No malacious destruction of property charges were pressed thanks to the police. However now she is trying to make me pay $2700.00 for a door that was said to have no apparent damage. Shoudlesnt her Homeowners insurance cover the door. since there were no Charges pressed on me.???

would getting a lawyer get me more money in the final settlement or would the cost of the lawyer not make it worth it? does anyone know what i should expect dollar wise for the settlement, ive been off work since last july and finally had back surgery,they had to fuse 2 vert. in a procedure where they went in from the back and the front.i drive a truck and may not be able to drive again. i just dont know what to expect when they offer a dollar amount
