I got a SBA loan after the Hurricane. I needed a second draw. It required a wind-insurance home owners policy. I gave the company l/4 payment, then got some funds from SBA. What would happen if I cancelled the policy? I don't need any more funds from the SBA.

my mother is getting life insurance (she's in her 50's). she had a man come to her house - he said he wants to withdraw her monthly life insurance payments out of her account next month. I don't think it sounds good -- couldn't his insurance company withdraw ANY amount if they wanted to? also, shouldn't they have a "bill pay" number if they are going to do this. I don't want my mother to get scammed if she passes away and there's no life insurance for her.

I own a leasehold conventionally built bungalow on a holiday park. Under the terms of the lease I have to insure the buildings through the park owner who is approved by the FSA as representative of the insurance company. He has quoted an outrageous premium of £327 for the cover. I got a quote from another insurer of £80 for the same level of cover. The site owner would not accept this and insists that I take his policy at his premiumas my lease states that I must take the insurance offerered by the owner. I suspect that he cannot legally enforce this. Just because it is in the lease doesn't necessarily mean it is legal. I only have a few days to act, so can anybody advise me on this? With the greatest respect, I need an answer from someone in the know rather than just an educated guess. No offence intended.

I applied for medicaid last week because I am not able to get insurance through work right now. I haven't been employed through them long enough. Anyways, I also suffer from severe depression. When I have a major break-down, I am unable to go into work. I will have to get a doctor's excuse to prove this. Will I be able to go to the doctor before my medicaid is granted? I have already been approved but I'm just waiting on my card to come in the mail. Will medicad cover this doctor's visit? I have to go to their office later today, I was just wondering if I could get advice ahead of time.

My employer that I was with up until 2 months ago when he laid me off stated that they would keep my health insurance active until the end of March.

The day they let me go just happened to be the day after I told them I had to have a heart procedure done and I would be out for a couple of days. My dilemma is that I did not pay Cobra on account that they said they would keep my insurance going for one more month. Needless to say medical is not cheap and this procedure came in at over $60,000 dollars. Now I have multiple people breathing down my neck. Is there any recourse here or am I just out $60,000 dollars?

The card is an insurred card and the premium was being paid regularly. Inspite of furnishing all necessary notarised documents, neither do the banks nor does the insurance company is working on it.
What steps should be taken in such cases?

I am a woman in general good health with no ailments or terminal disease. My husband had a $500,000 life insurance policy on me. I had originally signed a much lower amt to cover any funeral fees (the basic) for unexpected death, however, he deliberately raised it this much to half a million dollars without my knowledge. He currently has other life insurance policies, however, has mentioned it is only placed on him. I called the life insurance company in question and asked my policy to be deleted, however, I was told that it was not possible because my spouse was the Primary holder of that account. ALSO, I was told that even after a divorce, he could still have that insurance on me and there wasn't anything I could do about it. I am currently divorcing him over this matter and we have 4 children. How do I find out all of the insurance policies he may have on me and the kids?

Any advise would be appreciated.
