I applied for medicaid last week because I am not able to get insurance through work right now. I haven't been employed through them long enough. Anyways, I also suffer from severe depression. When I have a major break-down, I am unable to go into work. I will have to get a doctor's excuse to prove this. Will I be able to go to the doctor before my medicaid is granted? I have already been approved but I'm just waiting on my card to come in the mail. Will medicad cover this doctor's visit? I have to go to their office later today, I was just wondering if I could get advice ahead of time.
