Hi Guys, I find it confusing to find some companies report negative earnings for a few years. (sometimes by alot, few millions for example)

Can a company really take that sort of heavy losses for years? How does it get the funds to survive the following year?
Or am I just missing out some other factors :)

Hope that you can enlighten me, thanks!

I just read that a few companies where cultivating Morel Mushrooms, but the feds are regulating them because of federal grants. Supposedly only ISO 2000 companies can buy from these growers. Why would that be?

It has been frequently stated that the CEO's (Top Executive of any company) have spent a portion of their career in Sales. I am trying to find actual statistics to support this idea. Can anybody direct me to this type of research? It doesn't just have to be Fortune 500 companies. Thanks!
