I found a auto loan business on line today that gave me a loan. They deal in sub-prime credit or people with challanged credit. Can someone help me find out if this company is legal or is a scam. the papers the emailed to me seem too god to be true. They have no phone number but they conduct all of ther business via email. The name of the company is Consolidated Banker's Group INC.234 Elm St #130 Dallas Tx 75234 and another address at 2310 Crown Colony # 203 Quincy,Ma.02169. Again there is no number except a fax number and another contact number that they have but you go voice mail. Can someone help me please.......

You can go to BetterBusinessBureau.com and check out that business there... try to be absolutely sure before you entrust your personal information to them... there are tons of scams on the NET. Take care....:-)

Tread very carefully. First rule in scams is incomplete information or spelling errors on the website/emails.

Call another auto dealer and speak with their loan department. Just ask them straight out if they have had dealings with this company. You might also call the BBB in the Dallas area, (their home of record) and also in Quincy, MA.

You do not want to mess up your credit report or get put on the hook for a bad loan. It's possible they are a legit loan company, but go with your gut feeling if you just can't get a straight answer from anyone....

You are releasing your credit information to people you have no way of contacting?

Give me a minute....I may find something....

OK, a different loan company is at the TX location. They are not good guys. There have been complaints filed against them with the Better Business Bureau, with no response.

Here is the contact information if you need it:

Principal: Ms. Ann Greco
Customer Contact: Ms. Ann Greco - (201) 430-2575

The MA address does not exist.

One simple word of wisdom, only give any financial information to people you meet in a real business and in person. You could easily fall prey to theft, either financial or identity when dealing with strangers online. Especially stay clear of the spammers here in Answers, there are some very bad people.

Hi, I tried researching this company online but did not find anything at all on them....no registered complaints, no contact information in Texas....nothing on the Better Business Bureau...I suspect it may be a fraud. You may want to contact the credit bureau and ask them to put a flag on your report to alert you of any illicit activity just in case something happens. As a last resort, since the company claims to be physically located in
Texas, you may try calling the Better Business Bureau directly to see if they have any information on them.

Thanks!

Wow , I can smell that one from here .
You must be brain dead or desperate to even think of it .
If your credit sucks that bad , don't do something uber dumb like taking out a car loan , even from a legit lender .
Buy a beater for cash until you get your $$$ cleaned up .
This BS you're about to jump into is just going to keep you in permanent major debt & poverty -
Or is that your real goal ?

In all legal communications, the company's registeration/licence number need to be clearly indicated. If you don't see them, drop the idea. It's a scam!
