All you have to know is that almost all WalMart critics are either lying about their information or singling out WalMart for personal or emotional reasons.

Some people criticize them for poor employee benefits. Compare with K-Mart and ask them why K-Mart gets a pass for offering WORSE benefits.

Some people criticize them for not unionizing. Again, compare to McDonalds, Starbucks, or any other huge chain of minimum wage employers and ask why they get a pass for having worse employee benefits?

Some people criticize them for putting "mom-n-pop" stores out of business. Ask them why small towns grow and employment improves and why these stats are overlooked in favor of the sad stories that might even be exadurated?

You can almost win just by asking for proof. All of the things I've mentioned are propaganda points, not facts. Ask for proof and see how quickly the arguments go away?

If WalMart was such an evil company, you'd see the destruction in it's wake. (Where is it?)

There is a valid case for the relationship between lower prices and the economic boost the buying power brings the lower and middle class. The vast choices in the store do add to a better economic well being. Ask any college student who doesn't have a lot to spend and Wal Mart is a good choice. It's far from perfect, but does serve a common good.
