If I have, say, for example, a web design / graphic design company, does it help if I have words related to the company in the URL...

smart-webdesign.com

as opposed to

smart.com...???

OR is it just about smart meta tags, keywords, title tags etc...??

Your thoughts would be apreciated.

We've read that advertising in Superbowl costs a lot of money. Yet I see some businesses local to the CBS affiliate city ,including that station's (like CBS5 in San Francisco, CA) own local shows advertise during Superbowl.

I wonder how much these companies (like the local funiture store) pay CBS to advertise during SuperBowl.

you put it up once doesnt get sold pay the fee

put it up again doesnt get sold pay the fee

put it up again doesnt get sold pay the fee

now you have paid about 15 dollars in fees
plus the other fees and you finally sell it

lets say in total it costs 450 in total

is this how ebay works?

can you relist an expensive item until you sell it and make a proffit?

A company called submitplus.com claims for $699 a year, they guarantee placement in the top 10 positions( first page) of Yahoo, Google, or MSN. (it depends on your keywords). Also top 10 results in secondary search engines. Is this even possible for that price or complete BS. Your thoughts please.

What's preventing website owners from getting together in groups to click the ads on each other's websites? The clicks would not all come from the same place, so the advertiser would not be able to track them. The only thing I can think of is that the clicks per impression would be suspiciously high.

I am not very au fait with marketing on the Web, and I would like some help and advice to launch a 14 day system for business people to increase their sales, improve their productivity and eliminate stress.

As my website is new, I believe one of the best methods to attract clients is by Pay Per Click. Is that so?

I also want to find affiliates and agents to sell the system..

c/ i can offer video, so per video ad.

Anyone know what the going rates are? Also it should be noted that I can offer targetted ads so they only appear in the right demographic, therefore making the price beter. Thanks to any responders J.
