I know I need a trademark and copyright before pitching the product. Do we need lawyer's? All the major buyers are very interested. Predominately designed for Australian building industry. It's a great product, I couldn't believe it didn't exist already. How can we keep our product home grown? As you can see, this is not my field of expertise? far from it. What legal advice do we need and where can I find it?Desperatley out of league on this one!!

My husband started a small publicity firm this year. I was wondering if anyone can give me ideas as to how to contact firms like Loreal, Coca Cola, Walmart, Baskin Robins, and others. I have made contact with some of their local publicity agents but they always just say they will present my material to their customer. I am almost sure they are not doing it. I want to present these companies my media without having to go through their agent. I see ads in local magazines and wonder how they get them to place their ads. I haven't had any success yet. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I have sent several leters via email.the only way for me to reach the customer is to send email via internet webpages to the potential company's email boxes,but there r few messages back. could anyone tell me how to reach the customer effectively and find more and more orders?

I have an assignment in my marketing class. We have to come up with a new name and slogan for (1) a sports (energy) drink and (2) a vitamin drink. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated. My professor gave us an example of what she came up with and for the energy drink she came up with the name REV. I work for a dog grooming business thats been around since '95 and their cliental has dropped dramatically since 9/11. I spend alot of days off work because there is only 4-8 clients a day when we need at least 10. The owner advertises in the local magazine/newspaper (the herald) with coupons for 15% off returning customers and 25% off new. These are very popular coupons. Problem is, her shop is in a warehouse bay and isn't visable from the street. The big signs you can put out on the street and too expensive she claims. So we soley rely on advertisments and referals. Any ideas on how to advertise and were?
We also want more people to book ahead instead of last minute or walk in but they dont. It doesn't help she has a "walk in's welcome" motto on her flyers. Any ideas?
