I've had my items posted on Craigslist for awhile. I reposted them a few times so they are at the top of the list. Unfortunately, I have not sold a darn thing...not one thing
!!!! Many of the things I'm selling are household items like figurines, lamps, decorative pillows. Some things are even new and have not even been taken out of original packaging. The other things are very gently used, so it is not like I'm selling a pile of grease rags. When the ad first gets posted, I have lots of interest, but then no one ever follows through with the sale! Why would people even inquire if they are not serious? I'm so tired of dealing with idiots. Would I have better luck on Ebay. I thought about it, but I hate dealing with shipping, getting to the post office on time, and the possibility of idiotic people who can read leave me negative feedback. I really need the money, but should I maybe just give this stuff to charity. I just really hate not to get anything for it? What do you think?

It would only about 12.95$ plus shipping cost. I’m wondering if the cost to produce the pictures and the calendars would be more than the profit? If I advertised on places like myspace, do you think anyone would buy it being that I am not a celebrity? If you have ever produced a calendar and or are familiar with cost and profits I would appreciate feedback.

Thanks

I'm pretty sure everyone can relate to this. It seems in every area of the country the local TV ads will always include one or more that are so agrivating you can't reach the mute button fast enough. There are more than a few on cable too.

Tell about the worst one in your area, and whether or not it has turned you off from ever dealing with that business.

I'm a master's student in German and want to make some money by translating for students at my university who need sources (for a research paper, thesis, dissertation, etc.) translated from German. I already did this for one student who was referred to me by one of my professors, and he was very pleased with my work. Now I want to advertise so I can get more clients. What should I put on the flyers?

If one were to send an e-mail advertising a business to a small group of targeted addresses (20 or less) and include instructions to the recipient on how to be removed from the mailing list if they so desire, would it be considered spam? Is there any acceptable means of contacting potential customers through e-mail?

They will say something like - Other Imitators products cost 400 dollars but you can get yours for only 8 payments of 49.99 - which is the same price but broken up.
