I want the name to be universal, because I will also be catering to corporate and private parties. So I want the name to tell people what I do, but not limit me to one group of clientel.

I have seen a growing trend of businesses going back to normal names versus catchy names simply to help catch those serious customers. Keep that in mind especially for the future....will you like this name ten years from now? Make sure it has a timeless sound to it.

Here are some ideas:

The Main Event
Special Touches
Perfect Planning

Here's an idea you might want to consider:

One corporate entity can have two DBA (doing business as) names.

Different niches are after different things. A corporate luncheon business may _function_ like a wedding planner, but it most likely won't _look_ the same. And it DEFINITELY shouldn't advertise the same.

As for names... One-Stop Wedding?

How about Party Pig, because you're always giving your clients more and more?

I got nothin'. Good luck.

I have an idea. Try going to www.superpages.com. Its the yellow pages for the whole country. Then click on a far away place like California. Then go to Event Planners and look at some of their names. That might give you some inspiration on a cool name for your company. Good luck.
