I recently put an item on ebay. How can I promote this item--for free?

buy free i don't mean the item is free. I mean ways to promote that won't cost anything

You can advertise it anywhere on the net, EXCEPT on Ebay itself. (Yeah, odd, isn't it...) Ebay will not allow you to use the forums, or discussion board to advertise your items, but they encourage you to do it in newsgroups, discussion boards and forums on other sites.
