My latest thing: I am not allow to talk much during the work day because the sound of my voice annoys him. Is this even legal? I've been told that being mean to an employee or bullying an employee is not illegal, but should be. What would you do? I've tried not talking at all but it's about impossible to do my job without some sort of communication! (PS - this is just one of many things....there is also the fact he doesn't like my hair (it's curly) and he's flat out told me I'm not as smart as him....I could go on and on....)

I will be moving to Brazil in a few months and want to find out the best way to have my retirement funds transfered. I will be maintaining a bank account in the US that will receive my retirement funds. It has been suggested that I just use a debit card to access the funds from my American Acct. The problem is that there is usually a substantial fee to convert from Dollars to Reals.

Just been informed by some business colleagues of a delivery service scam going around. If a card lands on your doormat from a Company called PDS suggesting a failed parcel delivery, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE RING THE ADVERTISED TEL NO. (0906 6611 911). This is a premium rate number, and the second you hear a recorded message you will have been billed for £15.00! This is a scam originating from Belize and is currently under investigation by the Premium Rate Service Regulator.
If you come across this, report it to 'Royal Mail Fraud Office' / your local Trading Standards Office or the Premium Rate Service Regulator.

I was interviewing a couple of CPAs. One of them decided to do some work I did not request and billed me for it. Now I received an invoice from him demanding me to pay him.

What can do I do?

We had a company charge our credit card about two weeks ago that we closed 1 1/2 years ago due to it being stolen. We got a letter in the mail stating that a charge was made using that number and that they tried several times to reach us, no they didn't letter was the first we heard about it, and they transferred the charge to the new account number. I can't understand how the bank can not raise a red flag on this charge, and actually just roll it over to the new account. So I am wondering that when you make a purchase, how long does the company have to charge your credit card before the statute of limitations expires?

This is a question about credit behavior.

I asked a credit line in an electronic store to buy a $1,600 TV set under their promotion of no-interest for 3-yrs. They approved my application, but only for $500 limit, thus I did not buy the product. I want to cancel this account but have some questions before:
- An account opening like this one reduces the credit score? I would like to know if an opening like this could have reduced my score.
- If I cancel this account tomorrow, just 2 days after opening it, and without using it, will this affect my score?

Many thanks.

What should I do?
I am in the midst of hopefully switching Jobs. I had an interview on friday, for a decent job with a fantastic company. It went well

Meanwhile back at the ranch. My boss at my short bus job ****** me over. Here's how it happened. One bus run was disolved because of a driver who retired. So they took the montior for that run and put her on MY bus and shifted me off the bus with the driver and kids I have worked with for two years, but me on a bus with kids who are behavior problems and proceeded to also cut my hours. They had all summer to tell me this was going to happen but chose to suprise me with it. Also my boss had a chance to tell me when I decided to be upfront about my interview privately. She chose to break the news to me by handing me a folder in front of a crowd of people.

The dilema is this. Even if I dont get THIS new job I am not working there much longer. I have 25 sick days I never used. My mother who also is my union rep. is furious that I am contemplating calling in sick all the time to use my paid sick days. However, I feel like they screwed me and I want that money. I have been nothing but loyal to these people.
