I read that Goldman Sachs pays a lot, but you're expected to work 90 hours a week.

Also, you can't show any creativity or individuality.

Also, you have to be white (essentially) to work there.

Also, if you miff someone for any reason, they can blackball you for promotion, so you have to be perfect all the time.

It sounds kind of scary, I just wanted to know. I hear that Kwame Jackson of the first season of the Apprentice worked there, and he had to quit his job to appear on the show. And they don't let people come back after leaves of absence like that.

I am a very capable person? I am a manager where I work and I have many responsabilities. I work in retail so I deal with a large amount of people on a daily basis. I'm ready for a new career, something outside retail. I recently applied for a good job and had my interview last week. My interview was with a panal of five people, I was so nervous all I could here was my heartbeating in my ears! My answers did not reflect my capabilities AT ALL! needless to say I didn't get the job. I am not this person, I am usually calm and confident. How can I better prepare myself for my next interview? Now that this has happened I'm afraid I'll be that way next time!

to be able to afford the mortgage payments? have you ever noticed that? it seems like that happens in every situation, almost. you make too much money for any kind of assistance, but not enough to make ends meet... or is it just me? it's not that i want someone to just hand me a new house, i'm just frustrated because my husband (a paramedic) works hard, and he works a lot of overtime. if he doesn't we can't pay all the bills, but if he stops, then we can get a $5000 grant for a down payment and closing cost for our new house purchase... does that seem right?

I am starting a business, the name I chose is very unique. I feel it could be the next fortune 500 company even though it starts out way lil with me as the owner operator. I used to joke around with them and it was fun but lately its driving me nuts so I quit teasing them back hoping they would leave me alone. In addition I thought that I would be doing this for a long time and I used to love it but lately I am bored and uninterested. Is it time for a chnge in job or a change in coworkers? Ok, at the begining of March I wrote 2 checks to a group for a camping trip and tshirts. the trip was rescheduled 2 times.After the second cancellation we had to back out of the trip with the understanding we would get our money back. End of April, beginning of May they still had not cashed my checks.I asked for them back considering they were gonna give us money back anyways,they said no, Ok no big deal,I told them to cash the checks that week or they would bounce. I only put money in that account during the school year, and they were told that They cashed the checks the week of July 18th.Caused my account to go into overdraft. They waited 5 MONTHS to cash 2 checks totalling 47.00.overdraft fees of 68.00. They dont feel they should have to pay me the overdraft fees back, even after they were told the money wouldnt be in that account after a certain date.They are sending me my 47.00, Do I keep fighting for the other 68.00 or drop it? I didnt do stop payment cause it was 25 per check

We have only been late 3x and only by 3 days max. There is oil from a car on the drive but the car isn't fixed yet so why fix it now, we'll fix it when the car is fixed. Also he rented us this house with sidding missing on 1/6th of the house and 7/8ths of the gutters missing so the water runs into the basement. Does he have any grounds to evict us? (I already put over $600.00worth of repairs not to mention sweat and time into this house.. wev'e only been here since April, 2006)

I am preparing a financial analysis of a New Zealand manufacturing firm for a university assignment. The following questions need to be addressed: Performance, future prospects and how fair is the share price.

All considered from the point of view of an investor and a potential employee.

I would appreciate an example of such a report prepared for another company so I can get a feel for the stucture and relevant things to cover.

Also what are the most appropriate accounting ratios?

I liive in RI right now, and I've grown up here. I love the ocean.

I am getting my real estate license and RI is a hard market. I love the mountains so I was thinking of moving to NH. But then I got ahold of a real estate magazine from OK and they have ABSOLUTELY beautiful houses dirt cheap, and it looks like a good market to do business in, but I'm not near the water, and the land is flat....
I just want to buy a nice house, but NEED a yard, and I'm not talking about one of those tiny pieces of land with NO trees. I would like a nice yard with lots of trees and privacy, but not like a wilderness.... know what I mean?? I know I am picky, but I cant help it lol... any ideas??
