I have to answer the phones here at work and I keep getting calls from the "Internet Yellow Pages". They want me to take some 30 minute survey over the phone and will not take no for an answer. I have told these people several times to take our company off of their list, but they keep calling back. Am I the only person who has had trouble with these people???

I have been working full time since i was 16 nonstop. i just started a receptionist position makin 11.50 an hour. its a privately owned company. the people i work here treat me like i am a child. which i am still...but they only point out the bad i do, dont give me credit for the good. i started this job thinkin i was gonna be doin receptionist duties like they said. now i am cleaning used test equipment, and packing them up to ship. i am not strong and these are heavy. when i am at my desk doin computer stuff, they ask me wat i am doin like i am not on task. well i check my emails to make sure i get all request for quotes out, and its my job to answer the phone. when it is slow i have nothin to do, i browse yahoo and check my personal emails, or i search for doctors in my new neighborhood. i am doing jobs that i didnt apply for but i am makin good money.

I am at a stage in my life where I can travel, no one to worry about but me and I enjoy speaking to a crowd. I have been in many training sessions for everything from sexual harrassement to telephone courtesy to stress management and would love to be able to do that kind of thing for a career. Any ideas where I would start or whom I should contact? Thanks.

I am 32 years and I have never been to college. I have always just lucked into really good jobs over the past few years. The job I am currently in right now will be ending since it was only a temporary assignment and I am going to be unemployed before the end of the month. I have always wanted to attend college but always felt like I was not smart enough to handle the classes and now I feel like I am getting too old to be going back to school. Should I just try to get another job or would it be more wiser to get my education??? I would love to hear from someone who has been in my same situation.
