People always ask me for meanings behind my tats, and while some do have them, some dont. I always get the impression that if I tell something a tat doesn't have any meaning then they look down on me. To be honest I think that people who just get tattoos for the artistic reason tend to appreciate and enjoy their tattoos more as time goes on.

Why does this stupid prejudice exist?

I'm 14 and I would like to get a tattoo on my lower back. My friend has a tattoo and she's 14. I forgot to ask her where she got it done. I live in New Hampshire and I don't know the legal age I'd have to be with parental consent... Can anyone help?

I trimmed my head down to a zero (practically bald), with some clippers....and I applied suncreen (I guess unevenly), and I had a good amount of exposure to the sun this weekend. Friday I kinda had red marks on my head, especially a lot on one side. Saturday I avoided the sun, and then Sunday I went in the sun for a while, with a shirt covering the burnt part...I guess it didn't help cause my head still managed to get red as hell (in blotches).

Yesterday I made the mistake of being in the sun for five minutes while smokin a cigarette (with sunscreen).
Well anyway, I got like this really weird red, blotch pattern on my head, especially a lot in this one patch. But the thing is, its not peeling. Does it stay red for a few days before it peels?

Is this a sunburn, or maybe some allergic reaction to something. What worries me is it hasn't peeled at all, and it doesn't burn/hurt at all. I'm gonna stay out of the sun, not put moisturizer, and not shave for a few days. Any insight?

My friends dad told me that rubbing alcohal can get rid of huge pores and acne. And weird alcohal smells are in all of the astrigents. Does it really work with acne and pores?

I started having dark circles under my eyes and there getting quite annoying. People get the wrong impression of me now, saying I'm this messed up depressed women. I started applying concealer and putting a layer of blush over it. But it doesn't work and leaves my eyes with messy goo. Anything to get dark circles complety off? I have fair skin and lots of freckles.

P.S.!!!! I also have other skin problems. Like pimples, peeling skin, sun burn, and bunch of freckles and little brown spots. It makes my face a little misplaced. Help? (Not counting major surgrey!)

I'm 17 years old and have wanted a tattoo for some time now. I've drawn a few out, and even drawn them in sharpie on myself to see if I would like them on my body. I'm still not sure if it's a good decision though, as tattoos have become really common and meaningless for a lot of people. All of my tattoos will have some meaning behind them- I won't just get a bunch of stars or a butterfly because it looks pretty. So if anyone has any opinions about getting inked, or any stories about your own tattoos it would be greatly appreciated!

i recently went to meet a recruiter to join the coast guard.. every thing was fine until i told her i had a tottoo on the back of my neck, so if i wear a t-shirt it's visiable and they can't accept me for that reason. i don't wnat to join the army, air force or any other armed services because i want to stay in the states- should i get the tattoo removed so i can persue my career in the coast guard or is this a sign to not join? please help.

I'm sure using a puff in the shower to lather does give some degree of exfoliation for the skin. But I'm wondering if it's really necessary to use an actual shower gel specifically for body exfoliating (maybe one that has the pumice or beads) to get even better results. Don't the beads serve the same purpose as a textured puff; buffing away dead skin cells? And just for the sake of asking, what are some good body exfoliating cleansers for dry, sensitive skin?
