Yes, you should let her. That is around the age I started to shave and it was the perfect time. If you wait too long she'll be made fun of and start to wear all long pants. That's a habit she could have forever. So, let her shave today and don't be upset tomorrow!

I don't feel it's really a big deal. Some girls are hairer than others. If she's really uncomfortable with the amount of hair on her legs, then I don't see any problem with her shaving. I don't like a lot of hair on my legs but my mother wouldn't let me shave until I was 12. I have 2 daughters (19 & 5) I let the older one shave when she felt she was ready at about 10. I think it's harmless. Good luck. 2D

No don't let her shave yet because if you do at this point in her age she is not old enough to understand and she could cut her self.My Daughter was 13 when she 1st started to shave. If she has alot of hair on her legs and people are making fun of her Like in gym make sure she wears sweat to gym and instead of short how about Capri's.

COME ON!! she's 10, that's not an age to start shaving, you should just tell her no, do you think that its good if she has to start with that shaving routine so young? Make her wait a couple of years

Shaving legs is nothing big
its just hair that she wants to get rid of
dont let her not shave its her body its not like she is wanting to date 14 year old boys or get her nose pierced all she wants to do is shave
teach her how and let her do it

I mean you can let her do it, but you're going to feel really bad when she cuts herself. It happened to me when I was young and just starting to shave - i sliced my skin with the razor so bad. It looked like I was peeling a potato! So sick... I would wait until she's a little bit older. How much hair could she possibly have anyway?

uh, yeah. let her. no offense, but i don't like it when parents ban something beauty related without a reason. if she wants to shave, let her shave. it's not a big deal. her self confidence probly will go up as well, so there's a point for u and her.

My mom let me start shaving in junior high. Do you feel like she would be fine using a razor on her own?

i would let her shave. examine your daughters legs and underarms.if there is THAT much hair as so she needs to complain about it, let her shave. if there isnt let it go. but, let her learn her lesson but nicking herself becuz 10 yrs is way to young.

check her legs and whatever she wants to shave. you will be the judge. if she is really hairy, then teach her how and let her/ could be dangerous if she gets cut. if she is not that hairy, then I would say no.

the earlier this starts to more freedom they will be asking for sooner in life. trust me. been there. try to prolong it until it is really necessary, if possible.
