My friends dad told me that rubbing alcohal can get rid of huge pores and acne. And weird alcohal smells are in all of the astrigents. Does it really work with acne and pores?

Yes it does. The alcohol draws the moisture out of the pimple, and helps to dry it up. It doesn't do anything about the pimple regenerating though. That's why you have to repeat the process, and you may not see results right away. If you use it too much, it will dry out the healthy skin around the pimple too, so use it sparingly.

It cleans out all the dirt but It's really bad for your skin. I used to use it and it did help keep my pores clean but it ended up hurting my skin in the long run so just pay a few extra bucks and get Acne Free its a great acne product and you can get it at walmart for about 20 bucks and it works great just like proactive but cheaper and better.
