Oh yay, I went to the orthodonist today, and gives me no mercy to my poor lips and for an hour and a half he was pulling my lips 360 degrees (to put brackets on my back molars) and now my lips are dry, chapped, and the skin around my bottom lip is completely swollen, red, dry, and irritated. Homecoming is on Saturday and right now I have tried hydrocortizone, sour cream (dont ask..sounded like a good idea) and all of it burns.
I'd really like to NOT look like i have smudged lipstick all over my face at the dance. (That is basically what it looks like.) And I'd love for it not to hurt anymore.
What can I possibly do?

Okay, this time of year I keep a horrible sinus infection and cold and all the good stuff. Well luckily nothing has really bothered me yet but since the beginnins of last week my right ear was hurting me. It wasn't like a normal earache it was deep inside my ear and it was a pounding pain and it came and went and it's still doing that, today in nursing class it was killing me. THEN since day before yesturday you know when you have a real bad cold or etc and you breathe in and it burns and hurts your lungs, well I was doing that but it wasn't in my chest it was on my sides where my rib cage is and it's still doing it, even when I cough. My throat is hurting but not like streap throat, it just is sensitive, and my sinisus are burning but I have no drainage. Then I kept a low-grade fever through out the day and I'm just confused, should I go to the doctor. I feel pretty crappy but I don't know what I should do here.

I heard that if you use breast milk from a breasfeeding mother and place it on a cotton and apply it to your face one would have a nicer look is this true? or is it false information?

Please help me, Im so fed up. I have spots and sort of blotchy skin which Iv had since i was 12,and Im now 21. Its not acne, but I always have spots on my face and as theyre clearing I get more. Nothing Iv tried works and I dont know what to do,over the years Iv tried clearasil, clean & clear, e45, panoxyl, tea tree, which hazel, clinique, olay, garnier, biore.....and more that I cant remember. Iv even tried face masks and the thing with tootpaste. I dont know what to do next, I see people girls out with clear skin and I wish mine was like that. Any tips or ideas??they would be really really appreciated!

a girl in my class once told me to put pickle juice on my face at night,wash it off in the morning to help prevent oily skin the next day.
I am thinking of doing this but are there any side effects that ,might happen? When i read Wayside School is Falling Down(a childrens book) There was a chapter where the teacher threatened to pour brine juice(she said that brine is the stuff that u dip cucumbers in to turn into pickles) all over a girls face and that the brine is gonna make her face full of warts. Will the same thing happen to my face? Is brine the same as pickle juice?

m'kay i am a 5'10, 17 yr. old male. i'll admit i used to be fit yet over the summer i slacked off & wit the help of my diet of sweets, binges, lack of exercise, etc. etc. i put on around 55lbs. :wow:

i now weigh around 206+ lbs. & if i keep gaining that is quite aight with me. the only weird thing is 31in. jeans used to fall off of me. now i bought a 36 or 38 in. belt & it wont even fit around me completely! wtf... i also have stretch marks on my upper thighs & side of my bulging belly (that is starting to hang) i almost have "moobs" & i can go on & on.

so in your opinion am i fat, just right or underweight?

does taking estrogen really increase your breast size? i'm really slender, so i know i'm not going to be naturally busty (or even naturally average size) but i was wondering how i could increase my size, maybe working out or the estrogen.. or even massaging them, does that help?

also, how long would it take to recover from a breast surgery, and do you think breasts feel different to the touch after they've been augmented?
