I heard that about cucumber slices - I have tried tea bags but it didn't work for me.

What you do is wet the tea bags and place them over your eyes', it does reduce puffiness, as well as relaxes you (from sitting or laying there for the suggested 20 min). you can also use a sliced cucumber 1/16 to 1/4 inch thick, your choice, and that will also do the same. It is a temporary fix to like say being too tired from etc. If it made them go away (which it does not) there would not be so many eye wrinkle creams on the market.Protect your-self from the sun, drinking,in excess, and of course smoking....

Green tea's rich polyphenol content makes it a great anti-inflammatory and antioxidant, and the tea bag form makes it convenient to put on the eyelid. However, the tannins in the caffein is what really constricts your skin to make it look tigher. Therefore, the cheaper the teabag the higher tannin content and probably the more "effective" the depuff process would proceed, such as normal red tea bags. However, in this case you are probably irritating and temporarily "tightening" the skin without the protection of green tea's smoothing quality. Because of tannin's mildly "tightening" property, coffee is another fad "depuffing" agent, because it also contains tannin, an ingredient of caffeine.

Fresh, cool, wet green teabags are healthier than coffe because of the anti-inflammation and anti-oxidant properties. Beware of wet teabags that have been out in direct contact with air for too long, they are breeding ground for bacteria!

So just wet with cold water.not drippy just wet. and apply. squeeze it out some if its to wet.

My Mom has glaucoma & does it for about 2 to 4 minutes at a whack and they can be cool (yes, even used) or warmer ones(for a more soothing combo w/the swelling). Her surgeon recommends it (she's had tons of eye surgeries), as tea has natural acids & the benefits are extremely comforting. Tea bags are also great for black eyes (LOL) I had my share of them when I was a kid. Ever notice the "old fashioned" remedies work better than the crap out on the shelves of your local RX?

What I found helps me is not eating potato chips or anything with potatoes or corn. The coolness of the compress is what takes away the swelling. It should go away when your head has been elevated. If your eyes are still baggy, you may have allergies that you don't know about. But first try getting rid of potatoes and corn from your diet, or at least, severely restrict them. (like, eat only in small amts on the weekend or something.) Rice doesn't seem to affect my eyes like this. I don't known about barley and oats.

you ought to attempt Loreal's Lineur extreme Carbon Black Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner. Wow that's a mouthful, haha. It has a felt tip so that's extremely trouble-free to prepare. a distinctive determination is Milani's liquid eyeliner. that's greater durable to prepare because of the fact of that's brush applicator in spite of if it lasts all day and then some! I went swimming with it on, it did no longer smudge or something, thoroughly water resistant. just to purpose it, I took a bath with it on and it stayed placed! i would not evaluate this "high priced" yet neither "low fee" is MAC's blacktrack fluidline. that's a gel liner so it has a distinctive texture than liquid. you ought to attempt it out, you're able to be able to like it :) that's in simple terms $15!!! i wish that enables :)
