Makeup - November 2006

I weart blush and bronzer, as well as light eye makeup. I never wear foundation though, just a powder over the top of my makeup. A few hours later, my makeup seems to be gone! How can I get my makeup to stay in place, without caking on a heavy foundation beforehand? I really like the natural/glowing look.

I know that no one could possibly know but I want to know what people think for fun. I am of German and Irish decent. I have almond shaped eyes,long eye lashes, light to medium skin, and dish water blonde hair, and 5'6''. He is Puerto Rican and Mexican.
He has dark skin and hair. He has almond shaped eyes with long eye lashes. He is 5'9''. I just want to know what you think he or she would look like and if you think that my child will recieve any racial discrimination for being mixed.

How can i make my eyes stand out without using too much makeup?

I usully wear, mascara [on top and bottom lashes] copper or black liner on top and bottom and shimmery brown shadow.

[i use the eye expressions...i think its by almay?]
I have blue eyes. but is there any other way i can put it on to get a dramatic look with less?

I need a nice blush to look nice on me, and I don't know what colour would be better - brown or pink or what?

A while ago I bought this rather expensive pressed powder makeup from Ellen Betrix. I kept it in my purse for just a couple days, but sometime in between it must have fallen down or been dropped, because everytime I open it up the powder crumbles completely - it makes a total mess and is close to inusable!
I would buy a new one but I don't want all that money wasted.. Is there any possible way to somehow make the crumbled powder stay intact again? Water, pressure, anything??

My eyes are like dark blue-ish green and i have worn brown eyeshadows and like coppers but i have light skin and it looks to dark and gothic and like i need to wash my face. Do you have any advice about how I can make my complexion look better(pink undertones- ugh!), and what would make me look nice, sophisciated and slimmer? I want my eyeliner to look like this: http://img16.echo.cx/img16/6900/hilarybutton0gj.gif but I'm not sure if it would suit me or not.

Also I would like some advice about make-up in general. What types to buy, where to find good quality stuff without wasting money and also how to apply it.

I'm 17, and people mistake me for being 14 all the time. I want to look more grown up!

I have been using revlon super lustrous lip gloss in pearl plum for a while now. It has visible flecks of glitter in it and I have weird itching on my lips. My question is: have any of you ladies ever experienced this sort of thing from lip gloss? Its funny because my lips aren't red or swollen, just itchy!

I am new to using colored contacts. I want to use them however every one I find is very expensive. I am willing to buy expensive ones but, im not willing to spend 73 dollars on my right eye and another 73 on my left. That is ridiculous!! If I were to buy a box of contacts for my right eye and the box came with 6 lenses inside, and I used the lenses for both of my eyes even though they are only for my right eye. Would this in any ways damage my eye?

What can I do?

My lips are really flaky and dry most times and I have been looking for a good exfoliator. I found today a website called thelipscrub.com that offers several flavors of exfoliators for $20 a piece that can be used daily. Right now, I pretty much use everything I can find and nothing is working well for my lips. They just come out looking worse. I found a few reviews online that said the product was great, but I'm wondering if anyone on here has actually used the prouduct and what they thought.
