people are telling you ot to wear any but i think 13 is a perfectly acceptable age to wear makeup.
my one big piece of advice though- dont wear foundation. it'll only make your face worse as you go through puberty. All that dirt and oil gets stuck in your pores and you break out like crazy and you dont need that going into high school!!!
but as for eyeshadow and stuff. wear colors that go with your skintone. But wear it light. i know you may see girls wear drastic makeup, but save that for when you're older and REALLY know how to do makeup, otherwise it look caked on not drastic. So, i suggest wear neautral colors or light colors and don't apply alot. always do a lighter color as your base, from the bottom of your lid to the bottom of your eyebrow. Then a darker color, your main color, on the lid only. Then the darker color goes in your CREASE, from the outer corner to the middle of the eye. And be sure to blend this are with the other two so the colors smooth together .
Eyeliner is a gift from God, but dont apply a ton of it like you see these little sluts ddoping all the time. and great mascara is always helpful, but if your parents are kinda freaked about you wearing makeup leave off the mascara and it wont look like such a dramatic change

Ok. Well, I'm 13 and I've been wearing make-up since I was 10. If you have skin problems then you might try wearing concealer, foundation and a translucent powder over it. If you want to go all out then you could do all the above with a little bit of brown liner on the bottem a little bit more on the top lid. If you have brown eyes, try green, brown, or silver shadow. If you have black eyes, do the same. If you have green eyes, try purple. If you have blue try purple as well. Start off with a clear gloss. I don't really like lipstick. I think it looks too old, but that personal opinion. I would also add a little sheer blush so you don't look so pastey white.

I'm 14. Here are a couple that I wear:
•brown kohl liner
light pink eyeshadow
clear mascara
•black liner
purple eyeshadow(any color)
clear mascara
And there are fun colors out there too. Like dark green liner with brown eyeshadow. But don't overdue it! Never buy makeup from the dollar store. Better brands are more money, but are worth it. You only have one pair of eyes.

I have a thirteen year old sister that wears a little makeup that looks really nice. She got most of her tips from this site.
Her brands of her make up are:

Clinique blush and mascara
Very pretty,

if you are 13 i really wouldn't be thinking about makeup too much. MAYBE a little blush and if you really must some mascara but dont go much further then that, you probably have a very nice complexion at that age and dont really need makeup

None. Failing that, very little.
It's a very strange phenomenon...the best makeup jobs are the ones that are so subtle that you don't know the person's wearing any.
Subtlety is the key!
Cheers!

none if possible because your skin is still sensitive. but if u really need to apply some, try some lip gloss, pink or colourless. a little colour(pink) to accentuate your cheekbones and that's it. mascara(colourless type) should be for every day use but the black mascara for parties. stick with the minimum
